Evergreen Games 2024 Announcement

Evergreen Games Banner

If the name ‘Evergreen Games’ rings a bell, you are not wrong! This annual one day convention was established to commemorate the life of a dear friend and gamer, Simon “Evergreen” Pearce, who enjoyed and gave so much to the hobby, before being taken from all of us far too soon. All proceeds from Evergreen Games go to the Cure Brain Cancer charity, to help in the fight against the cancer that took him. Evergreen Games was paused during pandemic and is back now with the support of Melbourne Meeples.

So mark your calendars for Saturday May 4! Check next month’s Meeple Monthly for more details on how you can join us to support this worthy cause.

OzBunnyCon 2020 Announcement

It is with heavy hearts and floppy ears, we have made the decision to cancel OzBunnycon 2020. This pandemic will get a lot worse before it gets better, and may last months, rather than weeks.

Given a board gaming convention is a ripe environment for the highly-transmissible COVID-19 virus, and the importance of social distancing in keeping pressure of our health system, this is the prudent move for us to make.

Those who have bought tickets will receive a direct email about refunds.

Thanks for your understanding – we are absolutely gutted, and hope to see you all on the other side of this thing.
