It’s that time of year again, with the end of financial year approaching, so does a new membership year for Melbourne Meeples! All our members help keep the Melbourne Meeples alive, as well ad getting great discounts on events run by Melbourne Meeples, as well as fantastic discounts at a range of our retail partners. The date for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) has also been moved back 2 weeks, to allow for the various reports to be created and everything checked that’s required at an AGM. We hope to see as many of you there (online) as possible!
Membership Renewal
If you love attending our events and what we do, want discounted/free entry to an array of events and discounts at retailers, consider renewing your Melbourne Meeples Membership for the next financial year.
You can renew either online anytime.
Melbourne Meeple Members receive for the following benefits;

- Discount off your Meeplecon ticket
- Discount entry to Board in the West events
- Discount entry to The Devonshire Society events
- Discounts at select board gaming retailers
- Access to borrow from the Melbourne Meeples Inc. Library
- Help decide what games are added to the games library
- Voting rights at Melbourne Meeples general meetings
Memberships are anytime online, however, you will not be able to vote or receive the above benefits until you have paid your membership fees.
Date Change – 2023/24 AGM
The Melbourne Meeples Inc. 2023/2024 AGM will be held on Monday 17rd of July at 8pm, and will be held online.
If you would like to nominate for one if the elected positions, discuss the future of the club or get involved, please attend and have your voice heard.
Positions are;
- President
- Vice-President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- General Committee Member
Nominations will occur on the day, so be sure to attend and either nominate yourself for a position or vote on whom you’d like to run the club.
If you are unable to attend, you may nominate for a position and specify a proxy by emailing meeplecon@gmail.com.
You will need to be a paid up member to be involved in the nomination process or take part in voting.

Maybe you’ve got an idea for a new boardgame event, and need some assistance, e.g. manpower, library, insurance etc.
Or perhaps you just like attending our awesome events and want to help contribute to ensure we can keep delivering boardgame events for the Melbourne community.
Melbourne Meeples Inc. is a not for profit, volunteer run organisation run by a small number of volunteers who put on a large number of events throughout the year with the aim of building and developing the Melbourne boardgame community.
We’re always in need of more people to volunteer their time, whether it’s at an event helping setup/packup, or assistance with the organisation, either for one specific event, or by joining the Melbourne Meeples Committe or one of the sub-committes for a specific event.
